This is a traditional handmade turkish peshtemal towel. Made by artisans with 100% organic cotton material. Turkish towels don't carry sand in them the way a fluffy beach towel would, the material is more absorbent and yet still dries very quickly. 

Please note, this towel is not pre-washed but with each wash this towel will get softer and softer.
